SpicyHot Designs was created in 2008 in Michigan by me… Stacie Kitchen a self-taught Graphic Designer. My first freelance project was designing a 400 page plumbing parts catalog using Pagemaker and Microsoft Publisher on an HP Laptop that I borrowed. It expanded to more freelance projects designing layouts, banners and lawn signs, logos, social media posts, and websites.

I started volunteering with Solar Outdoors in 2009 by designing and printing their monthly newsletters and in 2019 became their webmaster.  Designed their new logo and www.solaroutdoors.org website in 2020. It definitely didn’t stop there as a few years passed SpicyHot Designs teamed up with “That’s Inviting” in Huntington Woods for Bah/Bar Mitvah envelope addressing layout and printing.

In 2016, SpicyHot Designs became a brand name on designs, printing, vinyl, installations, and so much more. Designing for mom’s, families, schools, school buses, and even small or large businesses all around Michigan.

Then in 2018 teamed up with “PopUp Events” in St. Clair Shores for all their graphic design and printing needs to market their clients new business adventures.

After moving up north to Gladwin in 2019, I ended up expanding my business and added printing on apparel (includes: sublimation, screen print, HTV, and DTF). This led me into the idea of a few product apparel lines called MINIscapes. An online store of vehicle silhouettes with city scapes in side of them. Eventually will expand to other vehicle models. The other apparel line is the SS Series which are fun sayings of the Sugar Springs HOA community events that everyone loves to do.
